Intelligence Reform Act

The Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 is an Act of Congress. The Senate approved the bill 89-2, and President George Walker Bush signed the Act on 17 December 2004, making it law. The Electronic Frontier Foundation objected to Act's potential effects on civil liberties.

The Act is divided into eight Titles, as follows:

"Border protection, immigration, and visa matters"
"Terrorism prevention"
"Implementation of 9/11 Commission recommendations"
